To be fair, the proportions are not bad. The hands are well drawn. The only thing that's "off" for me is the face. I get the feeling that maybe the mouth should be lower down and the eyes slightly more apart - it kind of looks like it's a face drawn front on, but since the angle is not front on, the face should be slightly at an angle...if you know what I mean? The neck is a little thick, but you could reduce it and you'd be good :D
